Odette Francis from Durban, South Africa talkes about growing up with English as her first language and the influences of her Portuguese father and her mother who was with Mauritian descent. She shared her views on the Irish vs South Africa rugby, why it was easier moving to Australia than Ireland, and how finding a better life and her love for accountancy brought her to the Shannonside Northern Sound region. A South African at heart who now considers Cavan her home, she advices migrants to embrace Irish culture.
