Sudanese Zeinab El Mustafa moved from Kuwait to Cavan Town in 2016 to live in a safe English-speaking country for her children.
Zeinab El Mustafa from Sudan described what living in 5 different countries was like. She kept her Sudanese culture close to her heart as she moved from her birth country to Abu Dhabi, UK, Hungary, Kuwait and finally settling in Cavan. She encourages migrants to integrate in their host communities to learn more skills and become more well-rounded. A former UN worker, she is now a Cultural Champion and Community Development Officer helping new communities integrate in Cavan.
