Hearts That Care – Filipino Frontline Stories from Cavan
On this episode of My Journey Home we hear from Diosa Adriano and Ruffa Dayok, two inspiring Filipino women who have built meaningful lives as care professionals in Cavan.
Diosa, a former Computer Science lecturer, now works at the National Learning Network, supporting people with additional needs. Ruffa, a pediatric nurse with experience in Bahrain, provides complex, customised care to children with intellectual disabilities across Cavan, Monaghan, and Longford.
They share how hard work, perseverance, an open mind, and a passion for service have guided their journey of migration, adaptation, and belonging in Ireland.
